Why I Started this Blog
Education is going through changes: and many teachers are struggling to adapt to these changes. As a special education teacher, I am most affected by the move toward inclusive classrooms. My school district has made the decision to go “full” inclusion next year. I am nervous about this decision. I believe in inclusion, but I don’t believe that it is for everyone. I worry about many of the resource students I have taught this year and how they will transition to regular education classrooms. Please share your ideas, opinions, experiences and concerns about inclusion.

Why does the general education teacher have that frown on his face? Could it be that he feels another teacher has envaded his space? Inclusion is not going away anytime soon. We need to find ways to make it work. It starts with the right attitude.
